SOUTH SUMATRA LIGHT RAIL MANAGEMENT CENTER (BPKARSS) HOLDS PUBLIC COMMUNICATION FORUM

The South Sumatra Light Railway Management Center (BPKARSS) held a public consultation forum at the Arya Duta Hotel Palembang on Friday (17/3). In 2023, the public consultation forum this time raised the theme "Realizing Customer Loyalty Through Improving South Sumatra LRT Services.”

This activity was having three speakers: the Head of BPKARSS, Mr. Rode Paulus G.P., S.Si.T, M.T., the Deputy for Public Services, Mrs. Prof. Diah Natalisa, and Mr. Sudaryatmo from YLKI Daily Management. Mr. Aditya Yunianto, Section Head of Facilities and Infrastructure Utilization at BPKARSS, was the event's moderator. A total of 200 people attended the event, including students, transportation observers, everyday users of public transit, representatives of government agencies, service staff, and friends with disabilities.

As the management of the South Sumatra LRT, BPKARSS is now working to enhance services for its customers. Most recently, the South Sumatra LRT has hired deaf people as customer care representatives at the LRT Station to help improve services.

It is expected that this effort would bridge the gap between the service standards that have been implemented and the requirements to improve services to public satisfaction. So that the community is aware of the benefits of using public transit as a source of everyday mobility.
