SOUTH SUMATRA LIGHT RAIL MANAGEMENT CENTER (BPKARSS) IMPROVES THE SERVICE OF LRT SUMSEL OFFICERS

In order to improve services, a total of 150 South Sumatra LRT employees gathered at the Palembang Asrama Haji Building on 7-8 February 2023.The project, titled "South Sumatera LRT Station Service Standardization Pilot Project," includes training materials for front-line personnel at Sumel LRT stations. Dedik Tri Istiantara, the Head of the South Sumatra Light Railway Management Center, officially launched the two-day event.

The South Sumatra LRT began operating in 2018.  And the development of the South Sumatra LRT has been outstanding up to this point. The LRT is widely accepted in the community as an inner-city transit option that may be the primary choice of transportation for Palembang City people. LRT passengers reached 2.6 million in 2019, but decreased in 2020 and 2021 because of the co-19 epidemic. Starting in mid-2022, LRT ridership will exceed 3 million.

The daily target for South Sumatra LRT passengers in 2023 is 10,000 people. South Sumatra LRT must undoubtedly be capable of providing the greatest service to its consumers. As a result, this activity was carried out. This exercise includes numerous elements such as Service Mind, efficient communication, Pilot Project Behavior, VOC and Service Memorable, and understanding of the company supporting South Sumatra LRT. It is intended that by participating in this activity, all South Sumatra LRT staff would be able to provide the best service possible to South Sumatra LRT consumers.
