SOUTH SUMATRA LIGHT RAIL MANAGEMENT CENTER RECEIVED AN AWARD AS THE MOST PRODUCTIVE PUBLIC RELATIONS TEAM

The South Sumatra Light Railway Management Center's Public Relations Team received a prestigious award as the most productive Public Relations Team at the Directorate General of Railways Public Relations Training event in 2023, which was personally handed over by the Head of the Legal Section, Mrs. Yennesi Rosita. On May 24, the event was held at the Eastparc Hotel in Yogyakarta. The Directorate General of Railways offered a public relations course with the topic "Becoming a Plenary Public Relations Officer: Shrewd in Telling Stories, Agile in Facing Crises that Hit." This action lasted three days, from 23-25 May 2023.

Various key elements in the field of public relations were provided throughout the course by experts and experienced practitioners. Ms. Adita Irawati, Special Staff of the Minister of Transportation for Communication and Human Resources, Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia, presented "Crisis Facing Strategy and Issue Management" as one of the materials offered. Wianda Pusponegoro, Vice President of Corporate Communications of PT Pertamina (Persero), gave the material on "Crisis & Media Handling." Meanwhile, Farhan Nurachman, Government Social Media Strategist from the Ministry of Finance's Directorate General of Taxes, offered information on "Ways to Brand Building for Government Agencies."

The South Sumatra Light Railway Management Center's Public Relations Team captured the attention of the training participants and judges with their remarkable performance in managing people in their work environment. Their talent in presenting intriguing tales, as well as their agility in dealing with the crisis that hit them, earned them the prize for the most productive PR Team.

This award demonstrates that the South Sumatra Light Railway Management Center has been successful in establishing a favorable and effective public image. The public relations team not only handles routine circumstances, but it is also capable of dealing with obstacles and emergencies that may influence light rail operations in the South Sumatra region.

South Sumatra Light Railway Management Center representatives expressed their pleasure and appreciation to the Directorate General of Railways for this honor.
