The enthusiasm of the community to welcome LRT Fest is getting higher with the announcement of war tickets / blank tickets. With a ticket price set at IDR 75.000, this event is expected to provide an opportunity for the public to get blank tickets at affordable prices while enjoying public transportation in South Sumatra Province.

Aditya Yunianto, Head of Facilities and Infrastructure Utilization Section of South Sumatra Light Railway Management Center, said that this event is the right step to introduce blank tickets to the wider community. "We want to involve the community in the journey towards a better public transportation system. Through this 'Ticket War', we hope to give more people the opportunity to experience the convenience of using the South Sumatra LRT," said Adit.

The "Ticket War" event will be held online via the Yes Plis app from 6 May 2024. This blank ticket is the first step for South Sumatra LRT to attract the public to the 2024 LRT Fest event. "Of course, like the previous war ticket, we hope that the public interest can be high. And many people will buy the tickets," he said. 

The public response to this "war ticket" event was quite positive. Based on observations on South Sumatra LRT's official Instagram, many welcomed South Sumatra LRT's initiative to make blank tickets. "I'm very excited about this 'Ticket War'. It's a good opportunity to get LRT tickets at an affordable price," said Farhan, a Palembang resident who plans to participate in the event.

With this 'Ticket War', South Sumatra LRT reaffirms its commitment to continue to innovate in improving quality public transportation services that are accessible to all levels of society. It is hoped that this event will also be a momentum to further expand the reach and usage of South Sumatra Province.

As previously reported, this LRT Fest featured many events. Starting with "KrissRun", a fun run that invites people to get some exercise while enjoying the festival atmosphere. In addition to running, "KrissRun" participants will be treated to interesting routes and fascinating city views along the way. This event is expected to raise awareness of the importance of a healthy and active lifestyle in the midst of busy city life.

Not forgetting the "Fluidfair", which will take center stage by presenting a variety of food and beverage tenants for festivalgoers to enjoy. From local delicacies to international dishes, "Fluidfair" will spoil visitors' palates with a wide selection of delicious and unique food and beverages.
