The preparation of the Revised Performance Agreement of the Directorate of Railways Infrastructure Directorate General of Railways for Fiscal Year 2021 is a fulfillment of the mandate of the Minister of Transportation Regulation number PM 85 of 2020 concerning the Implementation of the Performance Accountability System of Government Agencies and Regulation of the Minister of PAN and RB Number 53 of 2014 concerning Technical Guidelines for Performance Agreements, Performance Reporting and Procedures for Revision of Performance Reports of Government Agencies. This revision was carried out due to changes in budget allocations and optimization of budget absorption for priority activities within the Directorate of Railway Infrastructure as well as changes in outcome-oriented performance indicators.

As one of the organizational units in the Directorate General of Railways, the Directorate of Railways Infrastructure strives to be a government agency that is accountable, transparent, efficient, effective, and responsive to the aspirations of the community and the environment, as well as carrying out general government and development tasks properly and correctly (Good Governance). based on applicable laws and regulations. To achieve this, the 2021 Directorate of Railways Infrastructure Revision of Performance Agreement was prepared which is an important process so that the goals and targets set in the Strategic Plan can be followed and their achievements monitored through planned performance indicators so that performance accountability can be more easily improved.

With the preparation of the Revised Performance Agreement of the Directorate of Railways Infrastructure, Directorate General of Railways for Fiscal Year 2021, it is hoped that the implementation of the main tasks and functions of the Directorate of Railway Infrastructure will be more focused towards the realization of Good Governance.
