JOINT SURVEY SYNCHRONIZATION OF SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES AT PADALARANG STATION

Bandung (5/2) – As a form of synergistic and collaborative synchronization efforts with various stakeholders in the railway sector, the Directorate General of Railways through the Railway Infrastructure Team and the Railway Development Team across Padalarang – Bandung Railway Engineering Center Class I West Java Region (BTP Jabar ) who was accompanied by the Directorate of Railways Infrastructure Team carried out field observations to the project site for the construction of the Indonesia China Fast Train Station (KCIC) in Padalarang. The activity began with a review at Padalarang Station, Bandung, West Java on Thursday (3/2) which was carried out together with parties from PT. KCIC, PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) Persero and PT Wijaya Karya (WIKA).

"The purpose of this joint survey activity is to synchronize activities that intersect at Padalarang Station with several stakeholders consisting of the Directorate General of Railways (DJKA), PT Kereta Api Indonesia China (KCIC), and PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI)," said Bernadi Armisetyo, Head of the Railways Engineering Office West Java Region Railway Infrastructure Section. Bernadi further explained regarding the efforts to be taken next, "From the results of this joint survey, our next step will be to develop a work method and timeline for the implementation of work from each division to be able to encourage the smooth arrangement of the area and the emplacement of Padalarang Station as well as to support the operation of the Jakarta – Bandung High-speed Train.”

Regarding the residents' road access which will be converted into a route for passenger connectivity for the Jakarta Bandung High-speed Train (KCJB) who will continue their journey using the Bandung Raya Train, Bernadi further explained that this still requires confirmation from PT KCIC or PT KAI because of the scope of DJKA's work. temporarily only to do the work of structuring the track layout, platform work, overlapping, and Facility Operations. "Regarding the work on the mini hall or integration building, further discussions need to be carried out and regarding the design, it needs to be discussed together so that it can be determined who will enter the scope of activity," explained Bernadi regarding the division of several work plans to be carried out.

In addition to discussing the work process, this Joint Survey activity was carried out to re-discuss related to asset limits from DJKA, PT KCIC, PT KAI., and PT WIKA as the implementing contractor will begin to carry out an asset inventory. In addition, the plan to move or relocate the People's Crossing Bridge (JPO) will be discussed further by PT KAI regarding its handling. (Railways Engineering Office  West Java Region PR team)
