The Jakarta Bandung High-Speed ​​Train Slab Track’s Production Is Finally Completed

Bandung – Attending the last production activity of slab track (ballastless track) in Bandung on Wednesday (18/5), Director of Railway Infrastructure Harno Trimadi appreciated all parties who have worked hard in realizing the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed ​​Train.

"We thank all parties who have worked hard to realize this project very well," he said.

Seeing that the production of the slab track was completed faster than the initial estimate, Dirpras said he was optimistic that the nation's human resources would be able to carry out the  big challenging project in the future.

 The slab track for the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train was completed 2 weeks earlier than the initial target, which was originally expected to be completed by the end of May 2022. The slab track production was carried out by PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk (WIKA Beton).

Director of PT. KCIC (Indonesia-China Fast Train), Adi Priyanto Putro, explained that the progress of the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train had reached 84 percent. This means that there is still work to be done, including the fox grider, track laying, installation of signs or signaling, and the preparation of trains that have been completed and expecting the installment.

"We are also preparing for operations, personnel, SOPs, training, and management for operation and maintenance," he said.

Besides being able to complete the production of slab tracks faster, WIKA Beton also pays attention to product quality and quality by involving 283 local workers.

In the ceremonial process of completing the slab track yesterday, HR Director of SSHE KCIC Adhi Priyanto Putro, President Director of WIKA Beton Kuntjara, and Director of Engineering and Production of WIKA Beton Sidiq Purnomo.
