Head of the Railway Maintenance Center Audience with the Regent of Grobogan

Grobogan – Grobogan Regent Sri Sumarni received an audience from the Head of the Railway Maintenance Center, M Andi Hary Murty, at the Grobogan Regent's office, Friday (5/1/2024). The visit is a form of effort to foster good relations with the regional government.

The Head of the Railway Maintenance Center came accompanied by the Head of the Grobogan Mundakar Regency Transportation Service and his staff.

The arrival of the Railway Maintenance Center group was welcomed by Sri Sumarni in the Grobogan Regent's office.

On the occasion of the visit, Andi Hary Murty introduced his staff and spoke about the development of the Railway Maintenance Center in Grobogan Regency in front of the Grobogan Regent.

The Regent of Grobogan positively welcomed the existence of the Railway Maintenance Center in his administrative area.

"Collaboration is really needed to optimize the performance of government public services. I support good relations with all agencies in Grobogan Regency, including with the Railway Maintenance Center," explained the Regent of Grobogan, starting the discussion.

In line with what the Regent of Grobogan said, the Head of the Railway Maintenance Center on this occasion conveyed the importance of the support of the Grobogan Regency Government in the plan to develop integrated national railway maintenance facilities in the Depok Village area, Toroh District, which is included in the administrative area of ​​Grobogan Regency.

"We (Railway Maintenance Center, Directorate General of Railways) have a Master Plan for the development of railway maintenance facilities on a national scale, the Master Plan is medium term until 2023, the area to be developed is the administrative area of ​​Grobogan Regency, hopefully with the presence of the Railway Maintenance Center almost a decade in the Grobogan area, can provide benefits to the Grobogan community at large," explained Andi Hary Murty.

Meanwhile, the Regent of Grobogan expressed his support and positive response regarding plans to develop railway facilities at the Railway Maintenance Center, because over time until today, the existence of the Railway Maintenance Hall located in Depok Village, Toroh District, Grobogan Regency has had a positive impact on economic development in around the Balai area.

"We embrace everything, if the aim is to build Grobogan." said Sri Sumarni.

Since the presence of the Ngrombo Workshop as a railway maintenance facility in Grobogan Regency, the people of Grobogan have been able to make many contributions, one of which is kindergarten and elementary school educational institutions.

Many Grobogan kindergarten and elementary school children came to the educational visit organized by the Railway Maintenance Center.

This activity was presented to introduce children to the world of trains with elements of rail transportation safety and in the train maintenance workshop facility area.

Apart from elementary school students, vocational school students in the Grobogan area also have the opportunity to learn practical work internships at the Ngrombo Workshop. Students can learn how to operate railway facilities as well as the maintenance work carried out.

As the UPT of the Ministry of Transportation, the Railway Maintenance Center is the only vertical government agency under the Directorate General of Railways of the Ministry of Transportation located in the administrative area of ​​the Grobogan Regency Regional Government.

The hearing agenda is a symbol of positive synergy between the central government and regional governments.

Andi Hary Murty has maintained good relations between institutions, one of which has been since the commemoration of National Transportation Day 2023 following the passing of the Covid 19 pandemic, which involved the Regent of Grobogan in one of a series of commemorative events.

The 2023 Harhubnas commemoration in the Grobogan area at that time was a collaborative activity between the Railway Maintenance Center and the Grobogan Regency Transportation Service as part of the transportation staff.
