Padang - Padang Class II Railway Engineering Centre provides passenger shuttle service from Minangkabau International Airport Station to Minangkabau International Airport (PP) by shuttle bus.

As is well known, West Sumatra still has a pioneering railway service operated by the government through the Ministry of Transportation to reach areas less served by a larger railway network. The aim is to improve the accessibility and mobility of people in the area and to support local economic development.

Typically, Pioneer trains help to improve connectivity between regions by offering more affordable fares and timetables tailored to the needs of the local community.

The Railbus train, which runs from Kayutanam station to BIM station, is also supported by a free shuttle bus that takes passengers to the Lembah Anai train according to its schedule.

The bus is ready at the airport when a plane lands, and when the Lembah Anai train arrives from Kayutanam, the bus must also be ready at the station. This is a way to provide a sense of security and comfort to the passengers of the Pioneer Train,' said BTP Padang Head Hendrialdi in his statement.

I hope that with this free shuttle bus, the occupancy rate of the Lembah Anai train will increase so that the number of passengers will increase every time,' the Head of District Office expected.
