The Palembang Regional Railway Engineering Center, through the Railway Infrastructure Section, conducts active ramp checks on railway facilities in the Palembang region.

this is being carried out in connection with the preparations for Eid 144H Transportation which will fall in April 2023. It is further conveyed how important this activity is given the importance of the feasibility of facilities and infrastructure, especially during the Eid transportation period which is predicted to increase.

Active Rampcheck will continue to be routinely carried out by the LSKP Btp Palembang section, it is hoped that this rampcheck activity will reduce the risk of derailments and accidents that often occur at railroad crossings in the southern part of Sumatra.
