RAILWAYS ENGINEERING OFFICE CLASS II FOR NORTH SUMATERA REGION

The Railways Engineering Office Class II for the North Sumatra Region has the task of carrying out improvement and supervision of infrastructure, as well as supervision of the implementation of facilities, traffic, transportation, and railway safety.

VISION:  Accurate Acceleration, Safe, Measurable, and Synergic in Building Railways in North Sumatra.

MISSION:

1. Realizing the Appropriate, Safe, and Measurable Railways Infrastructure and Facilities Services.
2. Realizing the Trans Sumatra Railways that Meets the 2030 National Transportation Target.
3. Realizing the Implementation of the Trans Sumatra Railways that Implements the Principles of "good governance"

In carrying out its duties, the Railways Engineering Office Class II for the North Sumatra Region carries out the following functions:

1. Implementation of the improvement of railways infrastructure;
2. Implementation of supervision of the implementation of railways infrastructure;
3. Implementation of supervision of the implementation of facilities, traffic, and rail transportation;
4. Implementation of traffic safety supervision and rail transportation;
5. Implementation of monitoring the feasibility of railway infrastructure and facilities;
6. Implementation of prevention and prosecution of violations of laws and regulations in the railway sector;
7. Implementation of accident analysis and handling in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations; and
8. Management of administrative, household, staffing, financial, legal, and public relations affairs.
