As a form of BLU independence, the South Sumatra Light Railway Management Center (BPKARSS) manages stations independently. For this reason, BPKARSS signed a cooperation contract regarding labor management at 13 LRT stations on Tuesday (31/1). The signing was carried out by Mr. Anto Ariesman, as PPK and the Director of Operations of PT RMU, Mr. Bambang Suliastowo, witnessed by the Head of BPKARSS, Mr. Dedik Tri Istiantara.

"Our commitment is to consistently deliver the highest level of service," Mr. Dedik Tri Istiantara declared during his speech. With the management of the workforce encompassing health workers, customer service representatives, announcers, station personnel, cleaning staff, and security personnel for the South Sumatra LRT, the aim is to enhance the quality of services provided by the LRT in South Sumatra even further in 2023.

The procurement of this workforce serves as a step towards achieving independence for BPKARSS as infrastructure managers. Furthermore, there are notable changes in the management of South Sumatra LRT stations. Starting in 2023, each South Sumatra LRT station will have a dedicated BPKARSS employee assigned to monitor operations. This initiative aims to enhance the quality of services provided by the South Sumatra LRT and strengthen the collaboration between BPKARSS, PT RMU, and PT KAI.
