THE DIRECTOR GENERAL OF RAILWAYS INVITES THE ENTIRE HUGE FAMILY DJKA TO STAY STRONG AND BE CAREFUL IN FACE OF PANDEMIC IN A JOINT PRAYER

Jakarta (15/07) -

In order to pray for the recovery of employees and the entire extended family of the Directorate General of Railways (DJKA) who are struggling with the COVID-19 disease, the Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) of the Directorate General of Railways of the Ministry of Transportation again held a joint prayer on Thursday (15/07). This joint prayer activity was led by Ustadz Rizki Nasution, Lc.

In his tausiyah, Ustadz Rizki Nasution urged all employees to go through this God-given ordeal with a sincere, patient and steadfast heart. As his people, he must patiently accept all the trials that Allah has given him. "Don't let us move away from God in these difficult conditions, because we never know when it will be our turn to be called before Him," he added.

In line with what was conveyed by Ustadz Rizki, Director General of Railways Zulfikri said that now is a crucial time so it is important to pray for one another. "Currently there are around 99 people in our extended family who are struggling with the COVID-19 disease," added Zulfikri.

Zulfikri said that of the 99 people who are currently undergoing treatment, some of them are undergoing severe treatment. "This number continues to change until now, every day there are our relatives who are confirmed positive, although not a few have been declared cured," he continued. Thus, Zulfikri urges him to strictly follow the health protocols that have been recommended by the government.

Furthermore, Zulfikri said that currently the family cluster is a significant contributor to the number of cases. "I strongly recommend that health protocols must always be applied even at home," he added. This is based on his experience when affected by the COVID-19 virus, each family member carried out isolation so as not to infect each other.

Through this joint prayer activity, the Director General of Railways and staff invited all employees who were present at the Zoom Meeting to pray that employees and their families affected by the COVID-19 virus would always be given strength and patience, and never be careless not to comply with the applicable health protocols. 600 DJKA employees attended this event.
