2023 GOVERNMENT AGENCY PERFORMANCE REPORT OF THE SECRETARIAT OF THE GENERAL DIRECTORATE OF RAILWAYS
In order to realize the implementation of a clean state (Clean Governance) and free from KKN towards the achievement of good governance (Good Governance), the Directorate General of Railways is given the responsibility to regulate, control, and supervise the implementation of rail transportation to the general public/public in order to meet the aspects of connectivity, safety and adequate service equipped with aspects of accountability for the implementation of the duties and functions of the Government.
Based on Presidential Regulation No. 29/2014 on the Government Agency Performance Accountability System (SAKIP), each government agency as a state government organizer is required to be accountable for the success and / or failure in the implementation of programs and activities that have been mandated by the Mandate Giver (direct supervisor) for targeted performance, as well as provide measurable performance information in accordance with the objectives and performance targets that have been set through performance reporting and prepared periodically as a continuous improvement effort to improve performance.
The 2023 Performance Report of the Secretariat of the General Directorate of Railways is basically a form of work unit accountability prepared on the basis of the Regulation of the Minister of Transport No. PM 85/2020 on the Implementation of the Government Agency Performance Accountability System (SAKIP), which contains a transparent description of performance achievements related to strategic and operational efforts made to achieve strategic goals and objectives within the framework of fulfilling the goals and objectives of the work unit.
The preparation of the Government Agency Performance Accountability Report (LKIP) of the Secretariat of the Directorate General of Railways in 2023 is expected to be used as a performance evaluation benchmark for the achievement of performance in accordance with its duties and functions.
