The Railway Testing Center is a Technical Implementation Unit within the Ministry of Transportation which in accordance with the Minister of Transportation Regulation Number PM 64/2014 has the task of carrying out testing of Railway Infrastructure, Facilities and Human Resources.

In carrying out the duties and functions of the Railway Testing Center, there are performance indicators of activities that measure success / failure in carrying out the task of carrying out testing of Railway Infrastructure, Facilities and Human Resources.

Periodically monitoring the achievement of activity performance indicators is carried out as an effort to realize the implementation of the Government Agency Performance Accountability System. The implementation of performance achievement monitoring is outlined in the quarterly performance achievement monitoring report which is a performance realization report in a quarterly period (3 months) against the implementation of performance targets set through the 2023 Performance Agreement of the Railway Testing Center.
