LRT SOUTH SUMATRA EXTENDS OPERATING HOURS ON NEW YEAR'S EVE 2024

In welcoming New Year's Eve 2024, Light Rail Transit (LRT) South Sumatra has an appealing plan to provide more services to the community. The plan is to extend its operating hours on New Year's Eve, operating until midnight. This step was taken as part of an effort to provide people celebrating the New Year with safe and comfortable transportation options.

Extending Operating Hours to Midnight

Until now, South Sumatra LRT has provided 94 scheduled trips per day, from 05.06 to 20.43. However, to celebrate New Year's Eve, the South Sumatra LRT will operate until midnight on December 31, 2023. This step is expected to provide easy access to transportation for people celebrating New Year's Eve in various locations throughout the city.

13 Stations Ready to Serve

On New Year's Eve, 13 stations will remain open, including DJKA, Jakabaring, Polresta, Ampera, Cinde, Dishub, Bumsri, Demang, Gapo, RSUD, Punti Kayu, Asrama Haji, and Airport. The South Sumatra LRT, with its extensive station network, is expected to be an ideal transportation option for people who want to celebrate the turn of the year in various locations along the LRT line.
