BEKASI (12/4)– The Railway Operation Facility Testing Team has gone to the field to conduct periodic tests on Operation Area 4 Semarang and Operation Area 6 Yogyakarta.

This test is carried out in the context of renewing the periodic test certification which is valid for 4 (four) years since the first test certification is issued. Periodic tests that have been listed in the Regulation of the Minister of Transportation (Permenhub) Number 30 of 2011 concerning Procedures for Testing and Providing Certification of Railway Infrastructure must be carried out on every infrastructure that has been operated by conducting a function test of the railway infrastructure.

In its implementation, there were as many as 20 stations that carried out function tests, namely Jenar Station - Wojo Station - Wates Station - Sentolo Station - Rewulu Station - Patukan Station which were on the Jenar - Patukan route. Next, Wonogiri Station - Sokoh Station - Sukoharjo Station - Pasar Nguter Station - Wonogiri Station on the Solo Kota - Wonogiri cross. And those on the Solo - Semarang route are Kaioso Station - Salem Station - Samber Station - Lawang Station - Goprak Station.

The stations in Operation Area 4 are Gundih Station - Karangsono Station - Telawak Station - Padas Station - Kedungjati Station - Responsibility Station.

The 20 stations have been periodically tested for function which includes testing of electrical and mechanical signaling systems, telecommunications and secondary power supplies for signaling and telecommunications equipment.

The results of the tests carried out by the Train Operations Facility Examiner team will be submitted to the Directorate of Railway Infrastructure for monitoring and evaluation and processed for the issuance of periodic test certificates.
