The strategic plan of the Directorate of Railway Safety for 2020-2024 is a guideline in the preparation of the program of each work unit under the Directorate of Railway Safety as well as the Work Plan and Budget every year starting from 2020 to 2024. As well as making the development of railway transportation efficient, effective, reliable, integrated with other modes, and can provide maximum benefits to all communities and railway partners.

This Strategic Plan shows the role of the Directorate of Railway Safety in efforts to achieve the vision and mission of the President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia.

The preparation of the Strategic Plan is guided by the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) 2020-2024 which is stipulated through Presidential Regulation Number 18 of 2020.
