100 ORPHANS VISIT SOUTH SUMATRA LRT

South Sumatra LRT was visited by 100 children from various orphanages in the Ramadan vacation event at Ampera Station (14/4).

This event was spearheaded by the Payung Kebaikan community and Global Radio. In addition to South Sumatra LRT, this activity also collaborated with various companies such as PT Pupuk Sriwijaya, MDP IT Electronic Store, and Nano Nano.

The activity began with a visit to the Airport LRT station. Furthermore, all participants rode the LRT train from the Airport Station to Ampera LRT Station. During the trip all participants were given education about South Sumatra LRT. All participants seemed enthusiastic about listening to the material provided.

The participants prayed together upon arrival at Ampera Station.  Then the event continued with fun games and fun education until breaking the fast. During the fun education session, South Sumatra LRT introduced the South Sumatra LRT officers through a fashion show.

"We strongly support activities like this, the Ampera station hall can now be utilized with activities by the community. This event is the example of the activities." Said Mr. Aditya Yunianto, as Head of Section of Facilities and Infrastructure Utilization of South Sumatra Light Railway Management Center, in his remarks.

In the future, there is an anticipation that the LRT Station will be utilized by more individuals to perform various activities.
