Baperka Incessantly Collaborates with Various Railway Stakeholders

Jakarta - Partnership is one of the efforts to assist agencies in developing their capacity, both related to asset management cooperation, utilization of railway facilities and infrastructure, increased productivity, to human resources (HR).

Partnerships are important because services in the transportation sector, especially the railway sub-sector, continue to grow increasingly competitive. There is a need to optimize the achievement of the program for utilization and development of railway facilities and infrastructure through a cooperation scheme between railway stakeholders.

The Head of the Railway Maintenance Center, M Andi Hary Murty, is intensively conducting audiences, assessments and signing memorandums of understanding with various parties, one of which was when he visited the PT LRT Jakarta Head Office, Tuesday (13/6/2023). Andi Hary Murty was met directly by the Director of Operations and Development of PT LRT Jakarta Aditia Kesuma Negara.

The meeting held aims to establish strategic communication between stakeholders. In addition to exploring the possibility of cooperation that can be carried out by both parties. "Baperka (Railway Maintenance Center) initiated the meeting as a form of strategic partnership with stakeholders who are both in the railway sector," explained Andi Hary Murty.

On this occasion, Andi Hary Murty was invited by Aditia Kesuma Negara to tour the PT LRT Jakarta offices, one of which is the Jakarta LRT Operations Control Center Facility.

"We are open to various potentials for cooperation, if it is useful we will do it together," explained Aditia Kesuma Negara.

The aim of this is to build maintenance services in the railway sector that are synergistic and encourage the optimization of national rail transportation services. Moreover, trains are increasingly in demand nowadays, in line with improvements in the quality of services carried out from a regulatory and operational perspective in the field.

The step taken by Andi Hary Murty is a manifestation of carrying out the directives of the Director General of Railways, M Risal Wasal. The Director General of Railways continues to encourage the Railway Maintenance Center to increase the institution's capacity in the duties and functions of railway maintenance.

"Prepare the knowledge, the task of friends in maintenance (is) to analyze the risks of using railway infrastructure, study the risks, and then calculate the capacity of the required facilities," said Risal Wasal during his visit to the Ngrombo Workshop some time ago.

Communication and cooperation activities with stakeholders are not only carried out by railway operators at the central level, but are also carried out with train operators in the regions, as well as fellow regulators of the railway sub-sector. Community elements are also involved in encouraging the capacity building of the Railway Maintenance Office.

BTP Class I Surabaya

Based on work records, recently the Railway Maintenance Center also carried out the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding together with the Class I Railway Engineering Center (BTP) Surabaya concerning the Development and Utilization of Human Resources, Railway Facilities and Infrastructure.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed directly by the Head of the Railway Maintenance Office, M Andi Hary Murty and the Head of the Surabaya Class I Railway Engineering Center, Nurhadi Unggul Wibowo.

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding was held in Surabaya, taking place in the Surabaya Class I Railway Engineering Center Office Hall in mid-April.

The Head of the Railway Maintenance Center came accompanied by the Head of the Periodic Maintenance Section and the Head of the Heavy Maintenance Section. The Head of the Railway Maintenance Center and his entourage were greeted directly by the Head of the Surabaya Class I Railway Engineering Center along with the Head of Administration Subdivision and Head of the Railway Traffic and Safety Section.

Prior to the agenda for signing the Memorandum of Understanding, an internal meeting was first held between the Railway Maintenance Center and the Surabaya Class I Railway Engineering Center which was chaired directly by the Head of the Railway Maintenance Center and the Head of the Surabaya Class I Railway Engineering Center.

The purpose of this Memorandum of Understanding is to synergize and optimize the potential of each party to work together in the development and utilization of human resources, supporting facilities and equipment for maintenance of railway facilities.

It is hoped that the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding will enhance the development of railway management in the future so that it is more comprehensive and useful for the wider community.

DAOP 4 Semarang

The same thing was also done with PT KAI (Persero) Daop 4 Semarang. In fact, exploratory assessments have been carried out since the end of May 2023. Starting from activities to discuss opportunities for cooperation carried out at the Railway Maintenance Office, Grobogan Regency, to the agenda for signing a memorandum of understanding by the two parties on Thursday (15/6/2023) at the PT Office KAI (Persero) Daop 4 Semarang.

The Head of the Railway Maintenance Center Andi Hary Murty and the Executive Vice President of PT KAI (Persero) Daop 4 Semarang Wisnu Pramudyo, signed directly at the meeting. Collaboration between the two parties related to the development and utilization of Human Resources, Facilities and Infrastructure in the field of Railways.

To note, before the memorandum of understanding was signed, an intense assessment was carried out. As on one occasion, Deputy Executive Vice President of PT. KAI (Persero) DAOP 4 Semarang Setyo Rini came to the Ngrombo Workshop for the Railway Maintenance Center, to discuss opportunities for cooperation. The discussion was carried out with the Head of the Railway Maintenance Center, M Andi Hary Murty. The discussion on opportunities for cooperation was carried out in Grobogan, located in the Workshop Hall of the Railway Maintenance Office.

Deputy Executive Vice President of PT. KAI (Persero) DAOP 4 Semarang was accompanied by the Non-Transport Commercialization Manager DAOP 4 Semarang, Operations Manager DAOP 4 Semarang, Manager DAOP 4 Facilities Semarang, Road and Bridge Manager DAOP 4 Semarang, Legal Manager DAOP 4 Semarang, Public Relations Manager DAOP 4 Semarang.

On this occasion the DEVP Daop 4 Semarang went to the Railway Maintenance Center along with the Ngrombo Station Head and Staff. Arriving at the Railway Maintenance Center Office, Deputy Executive Vice President of DAOP 4 Semarang and his entourage were greeted directly by the Head of the Railway Maintenance Office, Head of Periodic Maintenance Section, Head of Heavy Maintenance Section, SPM Officers and Railway Maintenance Center Staff.

During the discussion regarding the contents that will be included in this Cooperation Opportunity there was an interesting and comprehensive discussion, in which there were lots of concrete inputs for good cooperation opportunities, as well as mutual benefits for both the Railway Maintenance Center and PT KAI ( Persero) DAOP 4 Semarang.

This collaboration has one goal, namely to synergize the potential of each party to work together in the development and utilization of human resources, facilities, maintenance facilities, and infrastructure in the field of railways.

With the collaboration between the Railway Maintenance Center and PT KAI (Persero) DAOP 4 Semarang, it is hoped that it can improve development and management in the field of railways in the future so that it is more comprehensive and useful for the wider community. (yogo)
