WEST JAVA BTP OF DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF RAILWAYS PERFORM SOCIALIZATION OF COMMUNITY SOCIAL IMPACT HANDLING IN THE FRAMEWORK OF LAND PROVISION FOR NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT IN NATIONAL STRATEGIC PROJECTS

The Ministry of Transportation through the Directorate General of Railways (DJKA) continues to be committed to accelerating the construction of the Kiaracondong - Cicalengka double track through the second phase of land readiness for the Kiaracondong - Gedebage and Haurpugur - Cicalengka segments.

The West Java Regional Railway Engineering Center (BTP JABAR) together with the Muspika carried out a Socialization Activity for Handling Social Impacts on the Community in the Framework of Providing Land for National Development in the National Strategic Project (PSN) for the Construction of a Double Track Railroad Between Kiaracondong-Cicalengka Crossing Bogor-Yogyakarta which attended by affected residents at the BTP JABAR Sports Facility Building, Jalan Gede Bage and at the Cimencrang Village Hall, Gede Bage District, Monday (6/0/2021). The previous outreach activities have been carried out from August 25 to September 10 2021 in several locations, namely Babakan Sari Village, Sukapura Village, Antapani Kidul Village, Cisaranten Endah Village, and ended in Cikuya Village, Cicalengka.

Later, there will be around 15 villages consisting of 980 fields that will be controlled on land owned by PT KAI (Persero) starting from the Babakan Sari sub-district, Kiaracondong to Cikuya Village, Cicalengka by the Ministry of Transportation. The West Java Provincial Government also supports the construction of this double track with the establishment of an Integrated Team consisting of the Ministry of Transportation, Regional Government Officials, Regional Offices of the National Land Agency, Regency/City Provincial Apparatus Officials, Finance and Development Supervisory Agency Officials, Sub-district Head and Head local village.

In an effort to accelerate development, the Directorate General of Railways uses policies, one of which is Presidential Regulation Number 62 of 2018 concerning Handling Social Impacts on the Community in the context of Land Provision for National Development.

The terms and conditions that apply include having a resident identity that is legalized by the local sub-district, not having rights to controlled land, having controlled and physically utilizing the land for at least ten consecutive years, and controlling and utilizing the land in good faith openly, and not contested, recognized and justified by the owner of land rights and/or the local Lurah/Village Head.

The form of compensation that will be delivered is non-compensation compensation, which consists of cleaning costs for everything above the ground (house demolition costs), mobilization, house rent, and loss of income allowance costs.

For the verification, validation and assessment stages will be carried out by the Public Appraisal Service Office (KJPP) on the 2nd week to the 4th Sunday of September, so it is hoped that in the 4th week of November to the 3rd week of December 2021, compensation payments can be made. to affected people.
