As a public servant, every State Civil Apparatus (ASN) must be ready to accept the mandate to serve the country wherever he is on duty. The same is true for the Directorate General of Railways.

After being inaugurated by the Minister of Transportation on Friday 1 October 2021, then on Monday 4 October 2021, located on the 2nd floor of the Karsa Building, Director General of Railways Zulfikri led the handover ceremony for several posts within the Directorate General of Railways.

In his remarks, Director General of Railways Zulfikri conveyed his congratulations and appreciation to the officials who received promotions. "To get a new position, of course, you have to go through a process that is not easy because you have to go through various stages of assessment and long selection," said Zulfikri. Furthermore, Zulfikri also added that job transfer is a common thing and cannot be separated from the dynamics of an organization. "This promotion can of course be a refresher and career development as an ASN. I hope the newly appointed officials can immediately work because they have many tasks to complete, especially in the Directorate of Railways Rolling Stock, Congratulations Pak Djarot," Zulfikri messaged Djarot Tri Wardhono who currently served as Director of Railways Rolling Stock

In addition to the handover of the Director of Railways Infrastructure, the position of Head of the Railways Testing Office was also handed over from Yuwono Wiarco to Awang Meindra. Awang promotion, previously from the Directorate of Railways Traffic and Transport. Meanwhile, Yuwono Wiarco fills the position as Director of the Indonesian Railways Polytechnic (PPI) in Madiun. "The task as Director of Indonesian Railways Polytechnic is quite challenging because this year PPI is one of the schools that the millennial generation is interested in who want to become cadets," said Zulfikri. Furthermore, Zulfikri also explained that as Director of Indonesian Railways Polytechnic, he must have the responsibility to provide direction, better management as well as providing technical knowledge to prospective cadets and cadets so that they can serve in the railway sector.

Meanwhile, the Head of the South Sulawesi Railways Management Agency, Jumardi, was promoted to Director of Infrastructure at the Jabodetabek Transportation Management Agency. Zulfikri added that the transfer of one of the officials from BPTJ is expected to be a bridge that facilitates the coordination process between DJKA and BPTJ.
