The South Sumatra Light Railway Management Center sponsored a picture competition at the South Sumatra LRT in celebration of Palembang City's 1340th anniversary. On the 17 June, 2023. The photo competition is open to all Palembang citizens. In addition, on 17 June, BPKARSS offers free LRT rides. Passengers who wish to ride the LRT can proceed directly to the station.

The photo competition is open to anybody who rides the LRT on 17 June. Those who are interested in participating in this photo competition require only to take photos at the station or on board the LRT train. Furthermore, the photo that forms the assessment is one taken with current clothes and uploaded on 17 June 2023. Photos are posted to their own Instagram accounts, tagging the @lrtsumselofficial Instagram account as well as three of our friends. Remember to include the hashtags #NgerayokeHUTPalembang #payonaekLRT #LRTGratisSeharian. In addition, the Instagram account remains open during the tournament time and has been following the @lrtsumselofficial Instagram account.
