The upcoming 23 July 2023 will be a historic moment for LRT SUMSEL as they celebrate their 5th Anniversary in an event known as LRT FEST 2023. The event will be a perfect blend of entertainment, knowledge and shopping for the people of Palembang and beyond. LRT FEST 2023 will be held at Jakabaring Sport City, known as the largest and most extensive sports complex in South Sumatra. The event will feature a series of exciting activities designed to entertain visitors of all ages.

One of the highlights of LRT FEST 2023 is "LRTology," a music concert event with various guest performers. For those who love sports and fitness, the "Pund Fit" event will be the perfect choice. Visitors can join in a workout session with professional instructors at the open area of Jakabaring Sport City. In addition, visitors will also be treated to the "Fluid Fair Bazaar." This bazaar will feature various booths selling a variety of food and craft products.

Rode Paulus, the director of the South Sumatra Light Railway Management Center (BPKARSS), stated that LRT FEST 2023 is a celebration of LRT SUMSEL's achievements in providing Palembang residents swift and effective transportation.
