South Sumatra LRT Collaborates with Universities in Palembang City to Realize the “Stasiun Punyo Kito Galo” Program

The Head of the South Sumatra LRT Management Office (BPKARSS), along with his staff held a gathering to several higher education institutions in the city of Palembang. On Tuesday (21/9), one of the universities visited was Indo Global Mandiri University (UIGM). The arrival of BPKARSS was welcomed directly by the Chancellor of UIGM, Mr. Marzuki Alie. The visit was an effort by BPKARSS to utilize the South Sumatra LRT assets that were packaged in the "Stasiun Punyo Kito Galo" program.

During the meeting, Mr. Marzuki Alie welcomed the program offered by BPKARSS in order to utilize the assets of the LRT Station as a space for student activities in the city of Palembang. As a native of South Sumatra, he gave many suggestions and inputs for the improvement and improvement of South Sumatra LRT services.

Currently, the South Sumatra LRT does not only provide public transportation services for people in the city of Palembang. However, the South Sumatra LRT will utilize state-owned facilities and infrastructure assets as non-tax state income (PNBP) for the continued operation of the LRT.
