PALEMBANG—The South Sumatra Light Railway Management Center, which always manages the Light Rail Transit (LRT) of South Sumatra (South Sumatra),uccessfully organized the annual LRT Fest event, which took place lively at the Athletic Field 1 Jakabaring Sport City on Friday, 19 July 2024. This event is not only limited to entertainment but also strengthens the position of South Sumatra LRT as the main pillar in mass transportation in the region.

In the event, which started at 15.00, LRT Fest featured a number of national artists' performances. Among them were Bernadya, Kunto Aji, and Tulus. The presence of these three top musicians not only entertained thousands of spectators but also confirmed the event's status as one of the biggest festivals in Palembang.

He said LRT Fest 2024 was not only about entertainment but also about building a solid community and educating people about the importance of modern and environmentally friendly public transportation.

The event featured not only music but also various food stalls and other interactive activities, all designed to create a memorable experience for visitors of all ages. With more than 4000 people attending the event, Rode hopes that the public will grow to love LRT Sumsel.

The Sako resident came with her friend. They rode a shuttle bus that was provided free of charge. "It was really comfortable to watch the concert from the shuttle. The driver was friendly, too. The service is good," she added.

Nurul expected the LRT Fest to be even better in the future. At least maintain what has been done this year. "Invite national artists again. Let us feel more at home on the South Sumatra LRT," she said. Nurul added that before organizing LRT Fest, a series of events must be held.
