MEDAN - Class I Railway Engineering Center (BTP) Medan has made World Anti-Corruption Day (HAKORDIA) 2023 a momentum for optimizing clean and dignified performance.

In the context of HAKORDIA, BTP Class I Medan held a Talkshow: Building an Anti-Corruption Culture and Increasing Integrity within the Class I Medan Railway Engineering Center for Sustainable Public Transportation.

This activity will be held from 09.00 WIB until finished, in Medan, North Sumatra, on Monday, December 11 2023.

Head of the Medan Class I Railway Engineering Center, Dedik Tri Istiantara, S.E, S.Si.T, M.T was also present at the event.

"This activity was carried out in commemoration of World Anti-Corruption Day (HAKORDIA) in 2023 at the Medan Class I Railway Engineering Hall, based on the Corruption Eradication Commission Circular Letter Number 18 of 2022 concerning the Appeal for Organizing World Anti-Corruption Day Activities," said the Head of the Center. Dedik Tri Istiantara emphasized that corruption is a form of dishonesty or abuse and can damage the image of the Indonesian bureaucracy in realizing a clean and accountable government.

In this way, he advised all employees of the Medan Class I Railway Engineering Center to close down opportunities for corruption.

"Let's work together to produce the best performance with achievements. We will increase our dedication, loyalty and spirit of service as state officials," said Dedik Tri Istiantara.

The talkshow, which was greeted enthusiastically, was attended by two resource persons, namely the Police Commissioner (Kombes) Sugiyanto SH., MH who serves as Head of Subdivision of the Corruption Crime Directorate (Dit. TIPIDKOR) Bareksrim Polri and Drs. Imam Hambali, M.Sc. who has served at the Ministry of Transportation for 35 years, and has served as Inspector II and Inspector IV at the Inspectorate General, Ministry of Transportation.

It is hoped that this event will also foster an anti-corruption culture for employees and enable them to play an active role in efforts to eradicate corruption so as to create a clean work environment with integrity. (AI/ARH/MAD/RZ)
