The Awarding for Work Units with The Best Performance Reporting Compliance And The Best Performance Achievement Of 2022 Performance Report.

The selection and award of work units with the best performance achievements and work unit best performance reporting compliance based on the 2023 Quarter I Performance Monitoring Report, was carried out by the Secretariat of the Directorate General of Railways to be precise, the Planning Section on 15 May 2023. This activity aims to give appreciation to related work units and is also expected to be able to provide motivation with rewards given to the work units concerned.

The Best Performance Evaluation Mechanism conducted by the Secretariat of the Directorate General of Railways is carried out by calculating the average comparison between the realization of the performance of the first quarter with the performance targets for the first quarter of each performance indicator as stipulated in the 2023 Performance Agreement.

The Best Performance Reporting Compliance assessment mechanism refers to the Minister of Transportation Regulation number PM 85 of 2020 concerning the Implementation of SAKIP, the SAKIP evaluation work paper from the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform and the SOP for providing reward and punishment for work unit performance achievements. With the evaluation component of timeliness of performance reporting (20%) and completion of performance information and use of performance information (80%).

With details of the evaluation components of performance information delivery and use of performance information as follows:

  • Information on performance goals and targets and comparison with the realization in the first quarter of 2023 (5%).
  • Information on performance goals and targets and comparison with 2023 (5%).
  • Analysis of performance results in the first quarter of 2023 includes identification of the causes of success/failure as well as recommendations and efforts to improve the performance of each performance indicator (5%).
  • Comparison of actual performance with performance at the national/international level (5%).
  • Performance Improvement Recommendations/Efforts Per Performance Indicator (7.5%).
  • Other Achievements (5%).
  • Realization of work unit budget and each performance indicator (5%).
  • Follow up on recommendations for improving the performance of the previous period (7.5%).
  • Supporting documents include performance agreements, leadership commitment forms for performance improvement, valid performance support data, monitoring of action plans every month and documentation of performance discussions in internal work units (30%).

Average comparison between actual first quarter performance and first quarter performance targets for each performance indicator as stipulated in the 2023 Performance Agreement.

After knowing the results of the calculations, then the Head of the Planning Section and the Head of the Sub-Section for Evaluation and Reporting of activities conveys the results of these calculations and determines which work units are entitled to receive the award charter. The moment of giving this award was given at the Meeting for Submission of Assignment Letters for the Planning Section from 15 to 18 May 2023.

The list of winners for the Work Unit category with the Best Performance Achievements based on the 2022 Performance Report was won by:

  1. The 1st rank is given to the Director of Railway Facilities;
  2. The 2nd rank is given to BPKAR South Sumatra;
  3. The 3rd rank is given to BTP Class II Padang.

The list of winners for the Work Unit category with the Best Performance Reporting Compliance based on the 2022 Performance Report was won by:

  1. Rank 1 is given to the Director of Railway Infrastructure;
  2. The 2nd rank is given to BTP Class I Bandung;
  3. The 3rd rank is given to BTP Class II Padang.

Following up on the results of the intended assessment, the selected work units were rewarded in the form of an Award Charter as a form of appreciation for the performance that had been given on Tuesday, 16 May 2023 at the Yuan Hotel, Jakarta. The awarding of the Award Charter was handed over by Mr. Dandun Prakosa as Head of the Secretariat Planning Section of the Directorate General of Railways accompanied by Mr. Andi Guntur as Head of the Planning Sub-Section - Reporting Evaluation.
