The Annual Performance Plan for 2024 serves as the fourth-year plan within the Strategic Plan of the Ministry of Transportation for 2020-2024 in the railway sector. This plan comes in the context of a restructuring of programs and development activities across all ministries and agencies, aimed at enhancing the performance of each work unit based on its core tasks and functions.

In general, the Annual Performance Plan for the Directorate General of Railways in 2024 outlines policies relevant to the Directorate and specifically addresses policies related to the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN), which is structured based on performance-based budgeting. This includes policies intended to encourage community participation in the development of railway transportation.

The Annual Performance Plan for 2024 will serve as a guideline for all personnel within the Directorate General of Railways to develop their Work Plans and Budgets (RKA-KL) funded by the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) for 2024. Substantively, it aligns with the Strategic Plan (RENSTRA) of the Ministry of Transportation for 2020-2024 and the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJM) for 2020-2024.

It is expecteded that the reviewed Annual Performance Plan for the Directorate General of Railways for 2024 can serve as a guide in executing railway development activities, ensuring a more directed approach in the advancement of railway transportation services to improve accessibility and mobility for passengers and goods.
