On Friday, 16 August 2024, the handover ceremony of the Supervisory Board of the South Sumatra Light Railway Management Center BLU was held at the Wyndham Hotel Ballroom. This event marked the change of leadership from the Supervisory Board for the period 2023-2024 to the new Supervisory Board.

The old board consisted of the Chairman, Mr. Joko Murdyono, and two members, Mrs. Yennesi Rosita and Mr. Mediya. They have performed their duties in the period 2023-2024 with high dedication in supervising and ensuring the operation of the South Sumatra LRT Management Center.

With this handover, the new Supervisory Board for the period 2024 onwards was officially inaugurated. The new Supervisory Board consists of the Board Chairman, Mrs. Gigih Retnowati, and two members, Mrs. Tio Novita Efriani and Mr. Angga Rosiawan. They are expected to continue their supervisory work and make a significant contribution to the management of South Sumatra LRT.

The handover ceremony was attended by various stakeholders, including the staff and management of the South Sumatra LRT Management Center. In her speech, the new Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Ms. Gigih Retnowati, expressed her commitment to further improve the performance of South Sumatra LRT through effective and cooperative supervision.

It is expected that South Sumatra LRT will continue to develop and provide better services to the people of South Sumatra with this change in leadership.
