Jakarta (16 July) - On Saturday 15 July 2023, the Directorate General of Railways (DJKA) held an Evaluation Meeting on the Implementation of the Jabodebek LRT Limited Trial. "In general, the trial went well," stated Risal Wasal, Director General of Railways. There are various things that must be done to address the situation, including upgrades to the software system."

Risal stated that the Jabodebek LRT Limited Operational Trial with invites from both the community and the general public would be suspended on 17-20 July 2023, in order to optimize the system upgrading process. "We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this delay; hopefully, everything will go smoothly so that people can use the Jabodebek LRT right away," Risal added.

Risal further stated that after the whole software upgrade is completed, a Trial Run would be performed before reopening to the public. "We will conduct a Trial Run on 21-23 July 2023 followed by another limited Operational Trial for invitations on 25 July 2023 and the general public on 29 July 2023." Risal concluded. (DA/HJA)
