The Directorate of Railways Rolling Stock of the Ministry of Transportation Monitored the Readiness of State-Owned Facilities (SMN) Placement in the Railway Maintenance Center

GROBOGAN - Director of Railways Rolling Stock, a.i. of the Ministry of Transportation, Dedy Cahyadi, who concurrently held the post after being appointed Director of Railways Safety at the Directorate General of Railways as of March 15, 2021, moved quickly to hold a coordination meeting at the Railway Maintenance Center on Thursday (25/3) night, at 8 p.m.

The meeting discussed the discussion of working steps for the implementation of the transfer of State-Owned Facilities (SMN) which are outside the location to then enter the Railway Maintenance Center, Grobogan, Central Java.
On the agenda, Dedy Cahyadi was accompanied by the Sub Directorate of Accident Inspection and Analysis, a.i., Directorate of Safety of the Ministry of Transportation, Prayudi, and received by the Head of Railway Maintenance Center M. Andi Hary Murti and his staff.

Dedy Cahyadi said, currently the priority of work for the Railway Maintenance Center one of them is the withdrawal of state-owned railway facilities into the center area in accordance with the map of the facilities that allow it to be moved to Grobogan.
Of the 169 facilities spread throughout Indonesia, the withdrawal will be made to 29 facilities first. For that, it takes significant attention to be able to complete the job.

The head of the Railway Maintenance Center said the readiness of its ranks in carrying out the work instructions.

"For the placement plan has been discussed, the capacity of stabling facilities has been taken into account," explained Andi Hary Murti in a meeting held that night.

According to him, after the Ciremai Measuring Train arrived on Thursday (25/3) afternoon and has been stabling inside the workshop building, planned then on Friday (26/3) afternoon, the Official Train that was originally at PT INKA Madiun will be pulled all to the Hall.

In the discussion of the meeting, Dedy Cahyadi also did mapping of 169 facilities. Mapping with regard to the condition of the facilities, readiness to move facilities, completeness of administration, and gathered as material to determine maintenance policy.

"Every implementation of care must be complete, every unit of facilities must have a record of treatment history," he stressed.

Related to this, Andi Hary Murti said, he will also coordinate with relevant agencies to monitor the administration in terms of facilities transfer work.

The coordination meeting lasted for approximately two hours in the atmosphere of heavy rain around the Hall area. After the meeting Dedy Cahyadi and other participants took the time to conduct monitoring to the workshop building and heavy equipment storage building. The group left the Railway Maintenance Center at 22:30 WIB.
