Blessing Friday, Today the Employees of the Directorate of Railways Infrastructure Officially Get the Covid-19 Vaccine

Jakarta – Today is the first time for employees of the Directorate of Railways Infrastructure to receive a Covid-19 vaccination.

The vaccination was carried out at the Mataram Building of the Ministry of Transportation and was attended by all stakeholders ranging from Civil Servants, Non-Civil Servants Government Employees and other Supporting Personnel.

As we know, the Ministry of Transportation cooperates with the Indonesian Ministry of Health in organizing the Covid-19 vaccination for all employees within the Ministry of Transportation.

This activity was carried out from 11 to 14 March 2021 as evidence of support for the government's commitment in efforts to suppress the spread of Covid 19 cases in Indonesia.

The Directorate General of Railways is scheduled to receive vaccinations on Friday (12/3) and Saturday (13/3).

Director of Railways Infrastructure, Heru Wisnu Wibowo, welcomed this vaccination program. He hopes that vaccination can reduce the risk of transmission of the Covid-19 virus, especially in the work environment of the Directorate of Railways Infrastructure.

It takes about 45 minutes for participants to follow the vaccination from registration to completion of observation.

Ridlwan Imam Muttaqin, a civil servant of the Directorate of Railways Infrastructure, said he was happy to have the opportunity to participate in this vaccination program.

“Alhamdulillah, on this blessed Friday, we have the opportunity to be injected with the vaccine. This is the government's real work in an effort to reduce the transmission of Covid-19," said Ridlwan.

In addition, Ridlwan also conveyed his impression that shortly after receiving the vaccination, among others, the vaccine was administered with a small syringe so that it did not hurt too much during the injection process.

“It turned out that the needle was small so it didn't hurt. Even when the vaccine entered my body, I didn't feel anything," explained Ridlwan

He hopes that with the vaccination program, all employees in the Directorate of Railways Infrastructure will be healthier and the Covid-19 pandemic can end soon.
