KALEIDOSCOPE OF 2021, RAILWAYS DEVELOPMENT IN THE RAILWAYS ENGINEERING OFFICE FOR EAST JAVA REGION

Surabaya (07/01), 2021 will be the beginning of the construction of the Long-Mojokerto Double Track Railroad as a continuation of the construction of the double track crossing the south of Java which is planned to be completed in 2023.

Railways Engineering Office for East Java Region continues to carry out the construction of the Double Track Railroad between Panjang-Mojokerto because this development is part of the National Strategic Project or often referred to as PSN, which is financed using State Sharia Securities (SBSN), namely state securities issued based on sharia principles, as evidence of participation in SBSN Assets, both in rupiah and foreign currencies.

You need to know that the construction of the Panjang-Mojokerto Double Railroad is a continuation of the construction of the Mojokerto-Jombang Double Track which was completed in 2020. This line has a length of 33 kmsp from KM 23 + 000 to KM 56 + 000 whose activities are including the construction of railroads, bridges, signaling, construction of 3 stations and 2 bus stops, as well as other civil buildings targeted for completion in 2023.

In addition to the construction of the Double Track Railroad between Panjang - Mojokerto, in 2021 Railways Engineering Office for East Java Region will also still carry out land acquisition and control activities along the railway line between Mojokerto to Wonokromo.

In addition to the development and land acquisition programs that are still running according to the set targets, there are also activities that cannot be carried out as a result of the Covid19 pandemic, namely the BH 374 Bridge Improvement program at KM 90 + 457 in Bayeman Probolinggo Lintas Surabaya - Bayuwangi whose budget was forced to do so. refocusing on handling Covid-19, forcing the activity to be suspended and proposed again in 2022.
