COORDINATION OF THE SELF-ASSESSMENT OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF SAKIP IN 2024 IN THE WORKING UNITS OF THE DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF RAILWAYS
Bogor, 21-22 May 2024 - The Secretariat of the Directorate General of Railways (through the Planning Section) held a coordination meeting in Bogor to discuss the Self-Assessment of the Implementation of the Government Agency Performance Accountability System (SAKIP) in 2024. The purpose of this meeting is to assess the implementation of SAKIP and to monitor the follow-up of recommendations from the previous year's assessment results. This event took place over two days, both offline and through the Zoom Meetings platform.
This meeting aims to provide guidance and explanation on the 2024 SAKIP self-assessment stages and to evaluate the follow-up of the recommendations from the 2023 SAKIP evaluation results. This activity is part of an effort to increase accountability and transparency in performance management within the Directorate General of Railways. The meeting was attended by representatives of different working units, including representatives of the Ministry of PANRB as resource persons, as well as representatives of technical directorates and representatives of centres within the Directorate General of Railways.
Several main topics were discussed, with a focus on the improvement and evaluation of the Government Agency Performance Accountability System (SAKIP) in 2024. The resource person provided a detailed explanation of the evaluation worksheet and the need for supporting data for the planning and performance measurement components. This discussion highlighted the importance of comprehensive preparation of supporting documentation to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the data processed.
The meeting also discussed the use of SILAKI, the Directorate General of Railways' application portal, which provides functions for evaluating the implementation of SAKIP. Updates to the SILAKI application and its integration with the DJKA portal are expected to improve efficiency in the process of uploading and managing documents, as well as facilitate the monitoring of the PM process from submission to plenary results.
In addition, the focus was on monitoring the follow-up of the recommendations of the 2023 Performance Accountability Assessment results. This discussion included an assessment of the achievement of the targets set, as well as the adjustments that need to be made to improve the effectiveness of SAKIP implementation in the future. The meeting emphasised the importance of improving the accountability and quality of SAKIP implementation within the Directorate General of Railways. Rigorous evaluation and monitoring are expected to improve performance and provide relevant suggestions for improvement.
As a follow-up to this meeting, several recommendations were made to improve and refine the implementation of SAKIP 2024, including strengthening internal coordination and making best use of the SILAKI application to support the performance evaluation and reporting process. Working units are invited to self-assess the implementation of SAKIP using the SILAKI application.
