In commemoration of National Transportation Day, the Palembang Railway Engineering Center moved to carry out Railway Safety Socialization and Promotion activities at Railway Crossings located at JPL 41, Martapura, East OKU Regency and JPL 123 Muara Enim Regency on Wednesday 20 September 2023.

In this socialization, BTP Palembang collaborated with the Directorate of Railway Safety, Prabumulih Satpel Team, Lahat Satpel Team, South Sumatra Provincial Transportation Agency, East OKU Regency Transportation Agency, Muara Enim Regency Transportation Agency, PT Bukit Asam, PT Jasa Raharja and PT KAI Divre III Palembang to carry out banner installation in the level crossing area in each level crossing, as well as distributing safety vests to street guards and providing information media in the form of fans, stickers, masks and mugs to users of level crossings in the surrounding area.

This socialization is conducted to remind the public of the importance of always maintaining mutual safety at railway level crossings. So, let's #BERTEMAN (Stop, Look, Right - Left, Safe, Go/Berhenti, Tengok, Kanan – Kiri, Aman, Jalan).
