Periodic Test Carriage owned by PT. KAI Division IV Tanjungkarang

BEKASI (31/5) - The Railways Testing Office continues to support the government's target of smooth logistics connectivity to spur the Indonesian economy, one of which is by conducting periodic tests on the carriage facilities owned by PT. Indonesian Railways (KAI) Division IV Tanjungkarang, on Monday (31/5) to Friday (4/6).

Periodic testing activities are carried out at the Rejosari Cargo Depot, South Lampung. Periodic testing is carried out on carriages operating as Coal Transport Trains.

In this periodical test, there were 99 carriages that were carried out with periodic tests. In accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Transportation PM No: 17 of 2011 concerning standards, procedures for testing and certification of trainworthiness, testing activities consist of static and dynamic tests. Periodic testing is carried out once a year, to ensure the operating facilities are operational and in accordance with technical specifications.

With the implementation of the test, it is hoped that the smoothness and connectivity of logistics transportation can run well. That way it will be able to spur and improve the economy of the Indonesian people during the current pandemic.
