All Employees of the South Sumatra Railways Engineering Office Take Anti-Drug Tests

Friday (22/10) Located at the South Sumatra Railways Engineering Office, the Personnel Section of the Directorate General of Railways held an anti-drug test (urine test) in the context of preventing and eradicating abuse and illicit trafficking of narcotic precursor narcotics within the Ministry of Transportation. The implementation of this activity is based on the Instruction of the Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia Number IM 6 of 2016 dated April 13, 2016 concerning the Implementation of Narcotics Tests/Tests for All Apparatus of the Ministry of Transportation.

The implementation of the Anti-Drug Test was attended by all employees of the South Sumatra Railways Engineering Office in Palembang. As for employees who are in Lampung, it will be scheduled later for the implementation of the intended Anti-Drug Test. Of the total 92 employees of South Sumatra Railways Engineering Office, 61 employees took part in the Anti-Drug test activity. Employees who have not participated because they are carrying out the duties of the Foreign Service and some have offices in Lampung. The Anti-Drug Test was guided by two medical personnel from the Jakabaring Health Center UPT, accompanied by representatives from the DJKA Personnel Section. From the implementation of the anti-drug test, the results showed that all South Sumatra Railways Engineering Office employees who took the test were declared negative/clean for using narcotics. The head of the South Sumatra Railways Engineering Office Hall, Ikhsandy Wanto Hatta stated that.” This Anti-Drug Test activity is a very good and necessary activity because, with this test, we can monitor the health condition of every Railways Engineering Office South Sumatra employee. And thank God, all employees who took the test were declared negative/free from drugs.” I hope that all Railways Engineering Office South Sumatra employees will continue to be clean, good, and avoid narcotics for the sake of a more advanced Indonesian generation.
