SOCIALIZATION AND TRAINING OF TRAIN CONDUCTORS (PPKA) AND SIGNALS AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS (SINTEL) AT DURI AND ANGKE STATIONS
Jakarta (14/12) - The Directorate of Railway Infrastructure initiated socialization and training activities for Train Travel Regulators (PPKA) and Signals and Telecommunications (Sintel) at Duri Station and Angke Station.
The activity which lasted for 2 days was attended by around 40 participants by presenting competent resource persons in their fields.
The crew of machinists underwent socialization regarding the placement of new equipment in the Duri Station and Angke Station areas. The training materials included hazard identification and risk assessment at the operation and maintenance stages, procedures for operating and maintaining fire protection systems, signaling at Duri Station and Angke Station, and theory of operation patterns and visual display unit (VDU) followed by VDU operation practice.
HIRADC (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment Determining Control) is a method of identifying the risks of a job so that a priority picture of which jobs must be controlled can be obtained. In other words, prioritizing which jobs have a high risk.
While JSA (Job Safety Analysis) is a method used to describe the risk hazards of a job and develop appropriate controls to reduce risk and minimize work accidents.
The activity that ended this afternoon is expected to enhance the understanding and expertise of PPKA and Sintel personnel, leading to improved work professionalism. This will ultimately contribute to the safety, comfort, and security of the Indonesian railway system in the future. (DPP)
