Switch over Staging III of Bekasi station is the Final Switch over Staging at Bekasi Station which affects the pattern of train travel between Jatinegara - Cakung - Bekasi Stations. This activity takes place on Friday - Saturday, 16 - 17 December 2022.

Stage III Bekasi switchover includes:

1. Activating Lines I, II, III and IV of Bekasi Station as Long Distance Railway Lines (KAJJ) which are supported by new station buildings and a new signaling system. The active lines in the Bekasi station emplacement are Lines l, ll, lll, lV, V, Vl, Vll, and Vlll according to the Bekasi Station monitor screen display (Control Console).

2. Activate the double - double track line between Cakung Station to Bekasi Station with a new signaling system.

3. Changes to the train line at Cakung station, namely: Lines l, lll, lll, lV are used as commuter train lines (KRL) and can be used as KAJJ lines under certain conditions. Lines V and Vl are block plot lines used for long-distance train (KAJJ) trips between Jatinegara - Bekasi.

4. Removed points 13C/23D, 23C, and 23E and changed signaling system. The Cakung control console screen display is adjusted to the new Cakung emplacement.

5. Adapting OHC to the new Cakung emplacement line.

Implementation of Switch over staging III of the Bekasi Station Building and the Bekasi Station Platform can be carried out earlier because they do not disrupt train travel. The planned time of implementation of this activity is carried out at 00.00 - 03.30.

Prior to the implementation of this switch over activity, Package B Working Units of the Jakarta and Banten Regional Railway Engineering Centers had closed several unofficial level crossings found around the Bekasi – Cakung cross. Some of them are the road behind Grand Mall Bekasi, under the Kranji flyover and gor peritiwi/Rawa Bebek. This crossing will be closed starting December 16, 2022 due to the activation of the Cakung - Bekasi DDT line after the switch over stage III is carried out. (reupload 2022)
