SEVEN ROUTES OF FEDEER LRT SUMSEL

The government continues to promote the National Movement to Restore Public Transportation in Indonesia, particularly in Palembang City. One of them operates a South Sumatra LRT feeder service. This is done not only to boost the number of passengers on the South Sumatra LRT, but also to encourage people to use public transportation as a form of everyday mobility.Currently the number of daily passengers using the South Sumatra LRT reaches 8000 per day on weekdays and 12,000 per day on weekends and holidays. With the addition of the South Sumatra LRT feeder route, it is hoped that more and more people will return to public transportation. as for the seven routes added, among others, namely

  •       Talang Kelapa-Talang Buruk via Asrama Haji Station
  •       Hajj Dormitory Station-Sematang Borang via Jalan Noerdin Pandji.
  •       Palembang Polresta LRT Station-OPI Complex,
  •       RSUD-Sukawinatan LRT Station
  •       Asrama Haji-Talang Betutu LRT Station
  •       DJKA LRT Station-Plaju Market Terminal
  •       Cambodia-Bukit Siguntang via Demang Station

There are now 58 LRT feeder angkot units operating in Palembang City. The South Sumatra LRT Feeder is the first angkot with air conditioning in Palembang City. Additionally, this angkot has CCTV to guarantee the security of travelers utilizing the feeder. Additionally, the feeder has a GPS and an electronic payment mechanism. Later, the South Sumatra LRT and other transit systems like the BTS will be connected with the feeder payment ticket.
