RAILWAYS ENGINEERING OFFICE CLASS I CENTRAL JAVA REGION CARRYING OUT MINIMUM SERVICE STANDARD CHECKING ACTIVITIES IN DAOP 4 SEMARANG OF PT KAI

Semarang, Railways Engineering Office Class I Central Java Region has carried out Minimum Service Standards checking activities at stations and en route to the work area of ??Daop 4 Semarang PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) from March 8 to March 10, 2021. This activity is based on the Regulation of the Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia Number PM 63 of 2019 concerning Minimum Service Standards for Transportation of People by Train.

Minimum service standards, hereinafter abbreviated as SPM, are the minimum service standards that must be met by service providers in providing services to service users, which must be equipped with benchmarks used as guidelines for service delivery and a reference for assessing service quality as obligations and promises of service providers to the public. the framework of quality, fast, easy, affordable and measurable services.

The train facilities that have been checked for SPM are Kedungsepur, Kaligung I and Kaligung II. For the stations, the SPM checks were carried out, namely Semarang Tawang, Semarang Poncol, Pekalongan, Tegal, Cepu, Pemalang, Ngrombo and Weleri.

The SPM activity is carried out by the Traffic, Facilities and Safety Section of the Railways Engineering Office Class I Central Java Region. For inspection at the station there are many things that will be checked in accordance with applicable regulations. This activity is routinely carried out annually in preparation for Eid transportation. All of this is done so that the service to the service user community is getting better and increasing, especially during this period where there is always an increase in the number of service users.
